Tips for Group Classes and Personal Training Sessions.

Arrive 15 minutes early to your first class to allow time to complete some paperwork and familiarise yourself with the group and surroundings

Let the trainer know if you have any injuries or concerns before the beginning of each class – we are happy to modify exercises so you don’t injure yourself further

Bring a towel and a bottle of water and hydrate yourself well before and after the class

Listen carefully to the trainers instructions

Do not push beyond your limits – you have nothing to prove

Ask questions if you get lost or don’t understand any instructions – our trainers are here for you and to ensure you have the best possible experience with us

why we ask for your information

You are never just another client

We want to encourage everyone to get in to an exercise program and to do it SAFELY

That’s why we are thorough when we collect your personal information.  You will be provided with a pre-exercise questionaire prior to starting any exercise program with Enhance PT. 

We need to know your medical and exercise history so we can provide you with the best possible experience during class.  It’s also a condition of our public liability insurance to obtain this information from every client.  Rest assured that any information you provide is strictly confidential.

But insurance isn’t our primary reason for asking for this information.

All of our trainers have access to your medical history – this means that you will be supervised by a trainer who knows and understands your background.  Because we are a small team we can guarantee that we will:

(a) get to know you personally
(b) care about and cater for any pre-existing conditions you may have
(c) adjust programs to suit you
(d) never treat you as just another client – we value each and every one of our clients
